This beautiful 2002 Beaver Monterey Trinidad 30’ motorhome was expertly maintained for twenty years by its first owner, a very meticulous commercial pilot. The 30’ Beavers (aka “shorties”) were the shortest Beavers manufactured; perfect for anyone who desires all the quality and luxury you see in the larger Beavers, but without all the extra length. Chassis length is 30’, but actual length is 32” from bumper to bumper. Ours has a queen sized dual adjustable firmness air bed in the back, and the couch folds out to a double bed as well. There is one large driver’s side popout. A new refrigerator was installed in 2019. About 2020, the exterior was repainted in its original color scheme and the interior was remodeled. It received granite countertops, new window blinds, interior paint, re-upholstery of seats and the couch, new flooring, a new shower and commode, a new microwave oven and stove top, and dashboard re-surfacing. The airbag control system was upgraded around this time as well. The original owner put 69,800 miles on the rig, hardly a break-in for the Caterpillar 3126E engine/Allison 3000MH transmission. Beavers are famous for commercial-grade chassis, and this chassis is built by Roadmaster and has a GVWR of 29,500 lbs.! Beavers were also built with solid, not veneer, hardwood cabinets. When we saw it in December 2022, we fell in love. All systems were lauded in the inspection that we insisted on. It was beyond clean and functional in every way, and the front tires were only 6 months old. In our 27 months of ownership, we have driven it 9,000 miles. We have replaced the engine belts; engine oil and transmission fluids have been recently replaced, ahead of schedule, with longest-life oils. The rear tires are only 15 months old. The generator has only 320 hours on it and also has had a maintenance service. One battery relay solenoid needed replacing, and we replaced three solenoids just for preventative maintenance. None of the many systems -- AC, furnace, hot water, H20/septic, water pump, propane, electrical -- have had any problems except the aforementioned battery relay solenoid. We have all of the original manuals and documentation, and much documentation on any upgrades and maintenance. We even have two leather Beaver-logoed key tags! Everything, to our knowledge, is in working order, and is turn-key ready for its next owner. It’s unlikely there is a better maintained Beaver Trinidad anywhere in the USA.
