RV Description
We will consider all offers.
Folks, you can't buy a good used pickup for this price. This RV will pull your jeep 75 miles an hour. It will fit in most National forest campgrounds. It's a great boondocking camper with 90 gallons of water. The 6000 watt generator will run everything for as long as you want. Propane furnace, water heater, refrigerator with ice maker, oven, stove top, 34 gallon propane tank makes a great boon docking camper. You can run the basement AC on a 30 amp shorepower, (both compressors). So you can go to a dealership and know nothing about its history or I can explain everything. I believe in karma so I won't lie about anything.
This Winnebago Journey comes equipped with a powerful Caterpillar 350 engine that delivers plenty of horsepower and torque for tackling steep hills and challenging road conditions. The Freightliner chassis is sturdy and dependable, providing a stable and secure ride. With its spacious storage compartments, you'll have plenty of room for all your gear, equipment, and supplies.
We traveled for 3 years full time in this RV. It runs great, doesn't burn oil. Everything works the way it's supposed to unless I mentioned it. I have decided to downsize as my wife has gone back to work. We've done a lot of work on it that you won't have to do. If you prove to me that you can pay for it, I'll set you up in a local campground so you can test everything. It's a great boondocking camper. Most of the time I use 30 amps and it will run both compressors on the AC under 30. It has 1 6 " scratch on the exterior. I would also consider selling the jeep toad and a 400 watt solar suitcase that plugs into the batteries. It has 3 AGM coach batteries (4 yrs old) and 2 marine engine batteries (1 yr old).
Things that don't work:
door awning
speedometer, I'll include a garmin for trip planning that provides accurate speed.
oil pressure gauge is sporadic but the computer display always says normal
airbag dump button. I have bypassed this with a manual air pressure dump valve in the cargo bay that will dump the airbags.
bedroom stereo. I believe it needs a fuse but have never wanted to use it.
Some sagging (shown in pics) of headliner. It has not increased in 3 years
keyfob sensor does not work, but cargo bay switch unlocks all bays with a click
walkie talkies do not charge
some of the black striping is losing its clearcoat
there was some water intrusion in the bathroom, replaced siding after fixing leak on roof
improvements:
carpet replaced 3 years ago
tires replaced 3 years ago
radiator pulled and cleaned replacing thermostats and coolant pump 3 years ago
smart wheel control module 2 years ago
replaced all valve gaskets 3 years ago
new tv 3 years ago
recovered dinette fabric 3 years ago
engine air filter replaced last fall
passenger windshield replaced 2 years ago
driver windshield replaced in March
injector pump replaced 4 years ago
If you see an older rv like mine with low mileage, don't buy it. These rigs are made to be driven. I learned this the hard way. Don't like the price? Make an offer. I'll consider it.
It's in a storage lot currently in Springdale AR. I'll need to meet you there if you want to look.
