1997 with Quigley 4x4 conversion. Standard wheelbase one-ton chassis with just under 85k miles has the fuel injected 360 engine and 4spd. overdrive automatic with 4.10 gearing and posi-traction. New Process 241 transfer case and Dana 50 front axle installed by Quigley.
Our personal needs have changed and we are reluctantly parting with this versatile and reliable camper. It fits in a small garage, is easy to park, and handles poor BLM trails as capably as the freeway. Fuel consumption ranges from 12 to 18 mpg and it can be insured as a motor home if you choose.
Approximately 22k miles ago the following work was done:
New radiator and serpentine drive belt
New fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator
New brakes front and rear
New shocks front and rear, new steering stabilizer
Engine tune-up
Transmission filter and fluid change
New battery
New Hankook (USA made) load range E tires
This pop-top camper is very clean inside and out; it spent its life in the Pacific Northwest and winters in Florida and Louisiana. Body and paint indicate lifetime careful use and proper storage with no rust or fading, and very few scratches. Tent and interior fabrics are in good condition.
