Our 2021 Jay Flight SLX 212QBW Rocky Mountain edition needs a new home because we have bought a new 5th wheel.This Jayco is turn key ready to RV in a park to Boondocks in the mountains to mooch docking at your friend's house. We bought the Jayco during COVID and wanted an Airstream; we couldn't find or afford one, so we bought the Jayco new and turned it into a luxury couples trailer. We have used this trailer a lot with annual trips to the NW, and we have also exquisitely maintained it and added dozens of upgrades detailed at the end of this description. One of the most important maintenance items in New Mexico is the RV has always had covered storage.The major comfort and convenience upgrades were: 1) rebuilding the original Jayco bed, so it would be flat and then adding a Wilderness RV Montana Hybrid Plush Mattress, 2) addition of a Victron Multiplus 2k inverter, 710 watts of solar, dc-to-dc charger and Solar MPPT, all tied with a Cerbo controller and control touch screen. Shore power is protected with a built-in Hughes Watchdog autoformer power monitor. A new 100 AH Dakota Lithium battery is included, or can be comped ($700) if you have your own battery(s).Another favorite upgrade is a custom butcher-block cabinet extension for added room to fix meals. On the inside are shoe storage, rechargeable bed reading lights, coat hooks, hat hooks, towel hooks. The bath has a hand towel holder, and oxygenics showerhead, moen bath faucet and upgraded MaxxAire Deluxe Fan with Thermostat and Remote. On the outside the tires were replaced in 2023 with Goodyear Endurance which now have about 5000 miles. A Road Armor Equalizer Suspension along with Moryde heavy duty shackles with wet bolts. There is an added underbody sewer tube storage making tank dumps a breeze. Other additions for convenience and comfort are a keyless door entry, a programmable / remote easytouch RV thermostat that goes along with an AC soft start. You dont have to get out of bed to warm up the interior or cool down. Alternatively, you can program it to come on just before you get up. If this isn't enough, there are accessories that can be negotiated included an Equalizer Weight Distribution Hitch, Furrion Backup Camera, and EEZ RV Tire Pressure Monitoring System with 8 sensors (plus the booster antenna is built into the RV hatch for reliable communication to the tow vehicle).
