2021 ALINER LXE. Well-cared for unit towed by a Subaru Outback, getting over 20 mpg, 8 gas shocks aid in setup, and has the factory high wind kit. Easily fit in the garage, saving the storage fee and damaging exposure from outside storage. There is over four years left on a transferable comprehensive warranty.
Modified with 76-inch twin beds accommodating people over six feet. The factory placed LXEs HVAC outlets & thermostat under the bed, a common critique preventing adequate air flow and control. The thermostat was relocated above the bed, to maintain comfort in the living space. The two outlets were rerouted, one blowing up and forward from the custom nightstand between the beds to reach the high ceiling, and the other offers unrestricted flow from the foot of the curbside bed.
The nightstand has a large drawer, two cup holders, two AC and USB C electric outlets. (Perfect for CPAP users) Under the nightstand, the factory drawer was removed, providing an out of the way cubby for a litter box, doggy bed or linens & such.
The folding table has been modified with a Lagun table mount, enabling articulation to multiple useful positions and heights. The table can easily be removed and stored in its original position forward of the toilet, leaving open access to the twin beds for potty trips in the wee hours, preventing the crawl over.
During the day, the beds provide comfortable seating for four at the table for dining. Use the wedge pillows and configure a lounger for reading or watching TV on those nasty days. A TV fits nicely on top of the refrigerator.
LXEs are short on storage. The new design offers a nightstand with drawer and two new cabinet areas under the beds. There are plenty of windows with a view in all directions.
Theres a two-burner gas stove, sink, microwave, nice size refrigerator with freezer. There is a toilet and shower, that when closed offers abundant counter space for meal prep. The two, hard sided dormers provide adequate headroom throughout.
There is a reversible Max Air fan mounted in the center, capable of removing cooking or objectional odors. The air conditioner with a heat strip provides comfort in any weather.
Utilities: 30 amp AC power cord, two 20lb propane bottles, 11 gallon fresh water tank, city water feed and a12 volt house battery. The toilet is a cassette that is easy to clean.
