RV Description
One of a kind, Custom Ford E-150 Off Road Camper Van. The van is a 2WD with a 4" lift, and a heavy duty, high load capacity RV suspension, which provides high clearance for your off road adventures and taking you to remote camping sites. This rig will go anywhere a 4WD can go with the exception of snowy and extreme mud conditions. It is great looking and extremely functional, with ATX American Racing chrome wheels with Goodyear Wrangler 265/70-R17 off road tires that have approximately 15,000 mile on them. A new rebuilt engine was installed in 2016 and currently has 18,885 miles on it. The front of the van has a Rhino-guard grill with large halogen off road lights that provide great visibility on and off road. The exterior custom paint is in great condition and the white with silver trim is a nice, clean look. The new custom interior leather seats, sit up high and accommodate up to 5 passengers. The three layer memory foam bed is one of the most comfortable beds you will ever sleep on. The bed sits on a full time platform, which creates a tremendous amount of storage underneath, which holds a picnic table, tarps, camp chairs, Coleman stove, suit cases, golf clubs and other camping gear. And on our winter ski trips there is plenty of storage for 5 pairs of skis, snow boards, boots, poles and other ski gear. There is a brand new flip down Smart TV, which enables you to watch Netflix or anything else that you can see on your smart phone. There is a high-end stereo system with surround sound and Sirius radio stations. The daytime shades let in the light, while blocking out the bright direct sun when traveling, and night time black out shades provide privacy while sleeping and enables you to sleep in when you want. There is a retractable privacy screen that pulls down directly behind the front two seats to provide additional privacy from the front windshield and front side windows, or if you prefer you can block out the front windows with standard sun shades. The interior night lighting package is great for night time travel with rear passengers or while watching a movie before retiring for the night. The double doors in the rear can be left open at night when you're wanting the fresh mountain air and the double side doors with running boards, make for easy to enter and exit the van. The second row seating has first class leg room and can be configured into 2 captain chairs with a large arm rest and cup holders in between, or the middle section can be lifted up, which provides room for a 5th passenger. There is a 12V converter that allows you to plug in a heater during cold temperatures or a coffee maker, blender, lap top, blow dryer, or any other small appliances. The van is extremely comfortable for long road trips and the high clearance allows you to take it on off-road adventures to access private camping spots that other camping rigs cannot get to. The raised roof makes it very comfortable on the inside and the shorter length of the van makes it easy to park anywhere in town and can be used as your daily driver. We have spent over $37,000 in upgrades and improvements and have all of the receipts and service records to prove it. The van is in great running condition and to our knowledge, everything is working perfectly. The body and frame of the van has 178,752 miles and the rebuilt engine has less than 19,000 miles on it. We rebuilt this camper van from the ground up, as we were going to keep it for a long time, however our plans recently changed, when I bought my wife a Mercedes Airstream for our anniversary. The van sits up nice and high when you're driving down the road, which feel very similar to the Mercedes Sprinter. We hope you enjoy it as much as we have.
