RV Description
This 2019 Coachmen Leprechaun 230 CB is a great blend of comfort and functionality! This vehicle has proven to be reliable and durable for long journeys. It features the bulletproof Ford V-10 Triton engine that eats mountains for lunch. The vehicle is regularly serviced and inspected, and many of the components are covered by an Extended Warranty from Wholesale Warranties (a leader in the RV community) good through July 2026 and which transfers with the RV.
It's got some miles on it (about 108k) but is in better shape than many RVs with a lot fewer miles; we made sure of that! This Class C features a surprisingly spacious and flexible interior layout with sleeping accommodations for up to six people, making it ideal for family vacations or road trips with friends. The 230 CB trim offers a well-designed kitchen area with a spacious fridge and freezer, microwave, and a 3-burner stove. The side bench converts in seconds to either an additional dining table or an extension of the kitchen counter that more than doubles food prep space--in fact, it becomes one of the largest galleys you'll find in any Class C!
We've upgraded some of the stock features of this vehicle. We put in a custom-made mattress that's super comfy and lets you look out the side window at the view while lying down in bed! We also installed a remote-controlled MaxxAir fan for great ventilation and put rain-proof covers over all vents. The generator is low hours. A TPMS helps you keep track of the new All Terrain tires.
The exterior of the Coachmen Leprechaun has proven durable. We specifically wanted an RV without pop-outs as these are a leading source of trouble (and the flexible interior still feels spacious and comfy). We also had the awning removed as it was a manual one, difficult to open and close, and prone to issues.
The 2019 model year was one of the last to feature quality construction and isn't plagued with the issues facing newer models.
If you like to get off the beaten path, this RV is ideal. We can go for over a week at a time between refill and dump visits, and 140 amps of AGM deep-cycle house batteries keeps the fridge and lights going for days.
We're sorry to have to sell this RV--the best purchase we ever made--but we're getting ready to do some long-term traveling abroad, so it's time to say goodbye.
Here are a few more things that make this RV so special:
BEDROOM. The rear bed is a full queen with plenty of storage. We love to open the large, low, side window and feel like we're outside, except we're in our comfortable, safe, cozy, and warm bed! Few other RVs we looked at had so inviting a rear bedroom! The mattress was custom-made and is super comfy.
KITCHEN. Not only is there real counter space in the kitchen, an expansion piece connects to a small table to add oodles of attitude counter space. For a serious foodie like myself, this makes for a great RV kitchen. A large freezer and plenty of storage make this kitchen extra useful.
LIVING AREA. The flexible living area can be configured with a large booth AND a bench for lounging (or extra storage!). The bench can also be converted into a small booth or an extra bed. The bunk over the cab also serves as a large bed with plenty of ventilation and windows. One of the things we loved about this model was that it feels open and spacious without problematic slide-outs, greatly simplifying the use of this RV.
MAINTENANCE. We keep full records of all maintenance and work hard to keep this RV in tip-top shape. Our guests who rented from us on Outdoorsy gave us all 5-star ratings and appreciated that this RV seemed way newer than they expected. Safety and comfort are our top goals.
WEATHER: Though this RV is not winterized, it was built with water tubes that can handle a freeze. We've spent nights where it got down to 25 degrees and the RV did great. We also just had the roof re-sealed (something that must be done with RVs on an ongoing basis) so you don't have to worry about roof issues.
