RV Description
IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AN AMAZING DEAL ON A MOTORHOME (B+ MODEL RV) STOP SEARCHING, THIS IS IT!
Call Bill at 801-891-2255
TITLE IN HAND! Carfax available upon request!
I traveled for work with this rv for around 8 years (traveling around 6 months each year).
I had a Goodsams rv warrantee on this RV each year I traveled from the time I bought it in 2013 until I stopped traveling long distances around 2020. The most important thing this means is that I had to keep all the maintenance completed regularly and on time or my warrantee would be voided and repairs wouldnt be covered.
Oil and filter had to be changed every 3,000 miles so I would always use Mobile One synthetic because I figured for a few bucks more I knew it would always have the best protection.
I even had to have the transmission fluid changed at 60K miles and you can see this in the Carfax report on 9/27/2016. Luckily I did this because Goodsams paid to have the transmission repaired. The Ford dealer (Rich Ford) repaired the transmission on 7/26/2019 at 95,631 miles as shown on the Carfax.
Listed below are things I remember having repaired and saved thousands over those years. For $100 deductible I could get most of all bumber to bumber repairs done for no additional cost so almost everytime there was an issue with this RV I would find a Ford dealer, Cummins, or Camping World close to where I traveled so I could always make sure to have repairs done properly with a big name repair facility. These companies are the most expensive but again, I did not have to pay any more than the $100 deductible so it didnt matter what it cost!
All these items were repaired for $100 deductible-
A/C replaced (around $1400 including installation costs)
Onan Generator repaired at Cummins 3-4 times and each time the cost was between 300 1400. I just recently had the onan generator repaired by cummins about a year ago and it works excellent.
Slide out- $1400
I am pricing this to sell fast so I dont have to have the same conversation with 500 buyers. Id rather just past along a great deal for a family who really wants to travel but doesnt have to pay the crazy prices that RV s sell for these days.
I dont travel for work any longer so I am selling this to buy a travel trailer (I would be interested in trading) because my family only camps about 2-3 times a year and I have a pickup truck for towing so this RV doesnt make sense to us any longer.
I had a carrier built special for this RV on the front (As shown in the pics) and it cost $1200. It can slide off completely or be put it back on when needing more storage.
The chassis including the engine, transmission, brakes, tires are all in excellent working order.
The shell has been in one accident where I was going about 40 miles per hour and had to brake quickly when a vehicle stopped in front of me causing me to go between that drivers vehicle and an aluminum light pole.
In that accident the Motorhome actually obtained scratches, cracks, and damage on almost every side because I hit from the front bumper and the pole scratched down the right side and fell on the back bumper-
Front crack in bumper, scratch on hood
Right side- broke a couple bolts (I replaced and the awning works as it should) and small crack on the awning pole and dents across the bottom storage doors
Back- tire cover has scratches and the bumper is cracked in a few spots
Left side- scratches but no cracks.
((Check out the photos for the details))
Damage on the inside- I live in Utah and have no garage to cover this RV so it sits out in the snow. A year ago I noticed the ceiling area near the frig was drooping some so I added some wood (see photos near frig) to raise it about a half inch but you can still see wood along the side of the frig is still a little buckled.
There is no leaks on the roof. It never leaked but because RV forums suggest to reseal after some time I did have an RV company add a coat of roof seal around 3 years ago. Many RVs Ive been in have a musky smell because of small leaks, this RV has absolutely no smells and actually still has a new smell because it is so dry!
Most damage on the inside is cosmetic and one small upper cabinet door needs replaced.
The microwave works but the half time oven portion doesn't.
The fold out bed works but could use new bracing to renew it back to working at its best. The bathroom entry door and shower door dont close smoothly and need adjustments.
I had a tire blow out and it caused damage to the outside fold out steps so I took it off completely.
I traveled non-stop with these items needing repaired and none of the repairs are needed to live out of it for 6 months at a time (which is what I did). We live near a ski resort and still take it up the mountain often. I have kept RV insurance and always had emission inspections pass and keep the tags current so we can still travel whenever we want.
I mention the repairs to be as upfront as possible and not waist time.
Ive researched and found that most RVs similar to this one, in this year model, and in this market in great shape sell around 41K 58K (As shown on one of the screenshots I included in photos). I considered selling for about half the average and try to sell it for 25K but I figure to avoid all the back and forth with many many buyers I would rather price it much less at $19,900 to move it quickly and save all that waisted time.
As you can see, this RV is a fixer upper and needs a lot of TLC and many small repairs but all mechanicals, plumbing, A/C and Heat, and big items work and most things work in excellent condition just because I need it to when I travel.
There are NO engine or transmission issues (ABSOLUTELY NO WEIRD NOISES OR CLICKING sounds in the engine or transmission- the fluids look new and there’s no leaks or smoke) The engine and transmission are excellent!!
Tires only have about 15% wear. Brakes were replaced about a year ago. A new windshield about 2 years ago. The Heating and Air work excellent. The Onan generator works excellent. The TV works great but could be updated.
The frig and freezer, hot water heater, water pump all work excellent.
The backup camera and radio system all work excellent.
This motorhome is a super deal and just needs a handy person who can look past the surface and see that once fixed back up it would be beautiful again and last many many years for you and your family!
There are many repairs needed to the inside and outside that are anywhere from simple skuff marks to cracks in wood and plastic pieces. I am not tying to make it sound better than it is! If they allowed more than 50 photos Id show every single detail because I don’t want to waist any time repeating myself and if you would like you can see it in person or if you live far away I can easily put you on facetime or other video chat and do a complete walk around.
I look forward to hearing from you soon!
Bill
