2007 Jayco Seneca HD 34SS
ENGINE:
Duramax 6.6L Diesel Engine 300hp
Engine Exhaust Brake
5-speed Automatic Allison 1000 Series Transmission with overdrive
8000lb hitch with 7-pin plug
80 Gallon fuel tank
INTERIOR:
FULLY remodeled interior that was PROFESSIONALLY done by a Denver based RV interior company. This company has been in business since 2005. Over $25k spent on interior alone with invoices for all of the work. Interior work includes; hardwood floors, wallpaper (no paint), new carpets, all matching upgraded furniture, all house lighting replaced with dimmable LED, modern entertainment center(Smart TV and audio package), upgraded all window treatments, new roller shades on every window (a shade and a black out screen), backsplash in kitchen and bathroom, custom butcher block covering 3 top burner, secondary refrigerator and more. There is not a single piece of original fabric in the entire coach. The extra mini fridge runs off of its own lithium battery that recharges when the coach is driving or when the generator is running. It doubles your refrigerator capacity and has been a very utilized upgrade. The enclosure containing the mini fridge and the shoe rack is bolted to the ground but can be removed and replaced with a swiveling/reclining chair that matches the rest of the leather furniture (this chair will come with the coach but is not shown in pictures). The curtains covering the closet in the bedroom replaced sliding mirrors that came from the factory which I still have and are in great shape. The mattress has been upgraded to a residential style mattress. Sleeping capacity includes queen bed in main bed room, cab over queen bed, dinette that folds down to a twin size bed plus a toddler murphy bed that folds out of the closet in the bedroom. Total of 2 queens, 1 twin and 1 toddler single.
EXTERIOR:
Blue Ox Tow Bar
Demco Stay and play braking system for a towed vehicle (would include with sale but requires a fee for removal from my jeep)
Hydraulic Leveling Jacks
One piece fiberglass roof
TuffShell Vacuum-bond 5" laminated roof
TuffShell Vacuum-bon laminated sidewalls
Welded tubular-aluminum sidewall framework
12V Electric patio Awning
One-piece Polyethylene pass-through storage compartments
Roof Ladder
Slide out awnings
Front molded fiberglass cap
Outdoor shower
Other exterior modifications include new awning material and slide out covers in BLACK which look much cleaner than the original white material and matches the exterior color scheme better. Max fan vent covers so you can run your fans while driving down the road and dont have to worry about closing them if it rains.
SUSPENSION and TIRES:
Fully revamped suspension that was professionally installed at Stevenson Chevrolet of Lakewood, CO. The majority of the factory suspension was upgraded with much beefier aftermarket components. This includes; New rear leaf springs with additional helper leaf, Koni shocks on all 4 corners, Roadmaster front and rear sway bar, Roadmaster front and rear track bar. $7,000 spent on suspension parts and installation with invoices for all the work. These upgrades drastically improved its road manners.
All 6 tires were replaced when I purchased the vehicle in February of 2021 (Toyo M20 245/70R/19.5). They only have 20k miles on them and are in a great condition.
MAINTENANCE and MISC:
All maintenance was performed regularly by certified Chevy mechanics at Stevenson Chevrolet of Lakewood, CO. If you have done your research on these Duramax Topkick engines, you already know that they typically need new injectors about every 100k miles and can $10k for parts and labor (all 8 injectors). I have already had all of them replaced so you are good to go for a VERY long time.
I have a tune from Duramax Tuners but after talking to the mechanics at Chevy, I decided to not install it. You can unlock an extra 50hp and 100 ft/tq which is the most Duramax Tuner recommends for this application. I also had a Banks digital gauge installed that allows you to monitor all of your engine vitals in a customizable display.
KITCHEN:
8 cu.ft. fridge/freezer with double door
4.5 cu.ft secondary fridge
3 Burner Range with oven
1.4 cu.ft. microwave with carousel
Double kitchen sink with covers
Large Pantry
Heating/Cooling/Power
Onan 6000-watt Quiet Diesel Generator
Onan Energy command center
13,500 BTU Cooling low profile central AC with digital thermostat - living room
13,500 BTU Cooling low profile AC with digital thermostat - Bedroom
10 gal. Gas/Electric DSI auto ignition water heater
35,000 BTU furnace with auto ignition
Tank Capacity
Fuel tank = 80 Gallons
Fresh water tank = 63 Gallons
Grey Water tank = 41 Gallons
Black wastewater tank = 51 Gallons
56 lb Propane tank chassis mounted
When we were shopping for this unit, there were a couple of key features that we were looking for. Being in Colorado, a diesel engine was a MUST but most of the diesel option were Class A models that were too long for our style of travel/camping and Class B models that were too small for our growing family. This Super C was the perfect size in that it had plenty of interior space for us with out sacrificing maneuverability. It being only 35ft long allows us to visit most national parks. Another great feature about this coach that separates its from other Class Cs is that it is on Chevy 5500 platform as appose to the popular Ford E-350 and 450 chassis. The Chevy C5500 is much more robust and most importantly for us, has significantly more ground clearance than the Ford options. The Ford platforms have such poor ground clearance that they have issues even driving over large speed bumps or pulling in and out of driveways. I knew that was not going to work for us because we prefer dispersed camping far more than we do RV parks and the Ford coaches would have never been able to access these locations.
The Reason we are selling is because I no longer have the luxury of working remote and are not getting the use out of it that we once did. We typically use this for weekend trips with the occasional 1-2 week road tip and have never full-timed in it. Every upgrade to this coach has been thoroughly researched, tastefully selected and professionally installed. There are over $35,000 worth of upgrades done to this motorhome between the interior and suspension alone plus another $11,000 more if you include preventative maintenance like the injectors and 75k mile scheduled maintenance that was just performed (feb 2025). The 75k scheduled maintenance is thorough and includes engine oil, trans fluid, diff fluid, power steering flush, engine coolant flush plus filters for everything. Maintenance wise, it is good to go for a very long time (excluding oil changes). It needs nothing and is ready for adventure. The current mileage is expected to increase slightly because we will be using it as much as possible while we still can.
