RV Description
I am selling my Promaster Van Conversion. My wife and I had two kids so we can no longer use the van. I put thousands of hours of work into this van, and it is very special to me, so I hope I can find a buyer that can enjoy and make the most out of this awesome vehicle.See detailed photos and a video tour here:https://photos.app.goo.gl/vgeB3si6uUdmtnJq5Youtube link to video tour:https://youtu.be/XDP2IjcuJ94I am asking $50,000, but will consider offers so long as they are serious. It was completely empty when I purchased the van, I did all the woodworking, electrical, plumbing, and finishing myself. The van is in perfect cosmetic condition except for one dent below the sliding door that was caused by some particularly dicey rocks. Im sure it could be fixed, but we never got around to it since it is purely cosmetic and does not affect the van.I recently brought the van in for a full safety inspection at a certified service center (Champion Dodge in Downey, CA). I am happy to provide the invoice and car check sheet from that inspection upon request. Mechanically, the vehicle is in perfect shape, everything passed the test, except two items that were marked as Needs Attention: The tires have passed their 5 year recommended time period, but it hasnt been driven that much so they should be good for another year or two, but will need to be replaced eventually. Additionally the front brake pads will likely need to be replaced in the next year or two. Otherwise, the van is mechanically in really great shape.VAN INFO:Model: 2019 Ram Promaster 2500 159 High Roof Camper ConversionOdometer: 35,880miHistory: Purchased used for $30,000 on 11/01/2019 from Shaver AutomotiveVIN: 3C6TRVDG5KE509509ELECTRICAL:Solar Panels: 4 x 100W Renogy Solar PanelsBatteries: 2 x 100aH Renogy LiFePo batteriesController: Renogy Rover 40A MPPT solar controller (with included BT-1 module for use with phone)Inverter: Renogy 1000W Inverter for GFCI outletsDC-DC Charger: Renogy 20A DC-DC Battery Charger for Car Charging (You can charge the house batteries with the vans gas if you need extra power)Battery Monitor: Renogy 500A Battery Monitor (mounted in wall)All the electrical is done with proper fuses, breakers, rated AWG wire, etc. I am a video engineer by profession so I am good with electrical work. The breaker box is a standard fuse box located under the bed and is well labeled.PLUGS:Two 120V GFCI outlets, one above the butcher block counter, one at the foot of the bed. One four-port 12V USB outlet above the counter. One 12V cigarette lighter port at the foot of the bed, along with 2 additional 12V USB ports.PLUMBINGFresh Water: 18-Gallon Water tank with hose attachment. To be honest though we hardly ever used the drivers side one because it is kind of hard to finagle, but we use the other one all the time. They are from Van Upgrades.Windows: I installed three windows myself. They are half sliders with screens, are completely sealed, and provide a ton of airflow when used with the roof fan. There are two large windows, one above the kitchen counter and one on the sliding door. There is one smaller window at the end of the bed. The two larger windows are model CRL VW8369 and are size 37-1/4" x 16-3/4" with 2-1/4" Trim Ring. The smaller window is model CRL VW1033L and is size 33-7/8" x 10-7/8". I got them from DK Hardware. BEDThe bed measures 72x58. The cushions are custom cushions so that it can be converted from bed to sitting room with table. The foam is from Foam Factory and the covers are from CoversAndAll. If you wanted to, you could leave it as a bed and replace the cushions with a mattress if you preferred. The bed conveniently converts into a sitting area with a table (see photos).KITCHEN:The counter is a solid wood butcher block counter. I cut the sink into it myself, it is an extra deep and wide sink that works well for a van. The GFCI outlets above the counter allow you to plug in an Induction Cooktop, which was our main cooking method when inside the van, along with some small low-power Dash-style appliances.Butcher Block counter dimensions: 74 x 25Sink Dimensions: 14W x 16L x 9DSTORAGE:There is a ton of storage in the van. I did not build overhead cabinets as I felt they took up too much space and it feels way more open without them. There are several wooden basket style storage bins overhead which function just as well and you dont have to worry about doors flying open or things moving around. There are several cabinets, a drawer, and under-sink storage beneath the butcher block counter. The bed platform is 18 off the ground, so there is ample garage storage underneath, plus three large bin areas behind the bed that are more than big enough to hold egg crates. The seats that convert into the bed open up and provide extra storage. The van also has the mothers attic storage above the car seats. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would like to take a tour of the van. Please serious inquiries only.
