True off grid, dispersed camping luxury van that that has the Mastervolt Reliable 3KW High Power Li-Ion single 460AH MLI Ultra Lithium battery w/solar system. THis is a unique lithium system not found on other lithiums & off grid systems. 6 cylinder Mercedes Benz diesel gives much better gas mileage than domestic V8's. And the torque in it propels it very well during travel on inclines. Plus, Tranquility is a luxury van that HAS everything. TRUE 4x4, NOT awd. MB has discontinued real 4x4 in all of its sprinter production from here on out, only awd will be offered. awd does NOT and cannot have the lower gearing that shifting into 4x4 does. Plus, this van, once in 4x4, has a true Low gear that you can further shift into for really extreme off road driving. It has taken me places deeper into forest land that other dispersed campers do not go. Camp alone! Mach 1 11k b.t.u. high efficiency AC, Thuma combi 2.6 gal furnace/water heater supplies plenty of warmth with 5 gal propane tank. Winegard Connect 2.0+ internet, 3000W pure-sine inverter, Firefly multiplex wiring control, battery disconnect switch w/automatic Shoreline-generator power switch, 200 amp solar w/controller AND exterior plug for more solar if desired. 170 amp alternator, gravity fill water tank, holding tanks have heater pads, 20 gal grey, 19 gal fresh, outdoor sprayer hose off the rear for outdoor showers and a super convenient cassette toilet. Shower, microwave, elect induction cooktop, 3.2 cubic ft Norcold refrigerator, 24' led Insignia tv w/cable & satellite hookup. Thule 6300 Omnimaster power awning is great for indoor/outdoor living. Rear loveseat turns into a bed with push button auto drop down. Black leather cockpit with interior trimmed out in grey. Exterior is Charcoal grey with much needed ATV Goodrich LT245/75R16 off road tires on beatiful black cast aluminum wheels. Much easier to drive than a larger class C and I am able to park it in town much stealthier than any Class C or pull behind. Just park, close it up and boondock in town when needed. The cost of rv park hookup/nightly fees has been tremendous. So has the diesel fuel on my wallet for fillups. The amount of days off grid solar depend on weather and how much power you choose to use at the time. I just completed the first MB scheduled maintenence visit required at 16k miles.
