2016 Lance 1575, Houston, Tx + Will Meet Up for TransferMore adventure awaits! We are retiring from camping life & would like to find a new home for our treasured 2016 Lance 1575.The 1575 is a comfortable layout for 2 adults. It would be perfect for a single person, a couple of youngsters who are tired of tent camping, or folks who are ready to see the sites in our wonderful State and National Parks. We have never had a problem finding a site large enough for this little gem. If you are considering a Lance, you may have already discovered it is one of the best-built trailers for sale. This one was built before the independent company was sold in 2018. We have diligently maintained our 1575. We bought it new and have been its only owners. We have the factory schematics for its plumbing and electrical systems, and all the maintenance and repair records. When not in use the trailer has been in covered, enclosed storage in Houston. It has never been smoked in and no pets have been inside.We towed this 1575 with a Toyota Tacoma. With a lightweight 3500 lb GVWR the 1575 is easy to pull, even with smaller vehicles. The Equalizer hitch (6/10 drop shank) and sway bars are included with the sale, with a 3’ 7-way electrical extension. These should accommodate most trucks and SUVs.There are four items of note to point out:1.)The trailer was purchased with a Coleman-Mach 9000 BTU Low Profile air conditioner. This enabled us to start and run the AC on a small Yamaha EF2000iSv2 generator when we were not connected to shore power. 2.)We gave up on the original Girard On Demand water heater and replaced it with a Suburban SW6De 6 gallon water heater. Much nicer for us. Same footprint.3.)When it was time to replace the original Group 24 battery, we bought a bigger battery box and have been using a Group 27 Deep Cycle Marine battery ever since. We carry portable solar panels to recharge the battery when not connected to shore power. 4.)We saw how nice other trailers looked with new floors so we put in a Pergo Outlast+ floor over the top of the existing floor in 2024. It’s nice.Of course this trailer is not in brand new condition. There are quirks we simply live with. If you are interested, we would be glad to share the short list with you.
