RV Description

This 2018 Beacon 38RLB (3811) is a pre-pandemic build that has been well maintained and offers numerous upgrades. It has been a comfortable home for us since 2019, in both cold & hot weather (3 Acs!) . We are selling because we have transitioned from full time RVing to a brick and mortar home. We now live in Oro Valley, with our Beacon in storage at Rincon West (southwest Tucson).

We have replaced the original furniture and dinette table with items that have been more flexible for us. The items shown in the photos remain with the Beacon.

Exterior upgrades include Morryde Independent Suspension, Kodiak disc brakes, 2- inch hitch receiver on the rear, Ford TPMS/rear camera, Step Assist on the steps, roof vent covers, front awning dropper extension, keyless door entry, Snap Pads, and the Reese goosebox and safety chains (20K).

Interior upgrades include separate Splendide washer and dryer units, adjustable shelves in cabinets, GE convection microwave, Extend-a-shower rod, top of the line carpet for dinette slide out, bedroom window fan (lifts out for transit), heavy duty full extension drawer slides, added shoe storage, updated cabinet door handles/pulls, painting of select interior cabinets, a larger fire extinguisher, and others.

In addition, this Beacon has an integrated solar/battery system that offers easy to control features and remote monitoring through the VictronConnect app and the control display located above the original control panel. The major components are: Progressive Industries 50A surge protector, Hughes 50A autoformer, 1200 watts of solar panels, 6 x 100Ah Battleborn lithium batteries, Victron Multiplus II, Victron MPPT 150/85, Victron Cerbo GX, Verbo GX Touch 50, Victron battery monitor BMV-712, and Microair Easy Starts on each A/C. Receipts, schematic and handy use instructions are available. The system has many features, like being able to limit the shore power pull (handy when connected to less than 50 amps).

A pre-purchase inspection is welcome. Repair and service records are available. Note that parts and tech support for Vanleigh 5th wheels are available through Tiffin.

In the photos you can also see:

-the bedroom door has a cat door. The photo shows the black plastic door in place; it can easily be lifted out if desired.

-a short (8 inches long) eternabond tape repair along the edge of the roof. The remainder of the roof is in good condition.

-a typical display of the tank sensors. The freshwater sensors all work, the grey water sensor can display 33% or 67% when empty, and the black water sensor usually shows 100% when empty. On occasion we’ve seen the grey and black water sensors work better.

-some wear on the front awning near the side attached to the RV. These spots have been like this for a few years.

-2 of the refrigerator door clear plastic parts have a piece missing; it does not impact the functionality.
