RV Description

First of all this is NOT a Sportsmobile, It looks and acts like one but it is more of a home built Weekender Conversion. RV Trader will not let me type in the make and model, So here is the rundown:

This is an extremely clean, one owner 1997 Dodge B3500 Weekender 190 Class B Camper Van. 95,000 miles, Rust free, Runs and drives great.Check out over 50 pics on our website at www.dandlautosales.comThis appeared to be a home built unit passenger conversion years ago, and we remodeled it, and turned it into a weekender Camper Van.

The Van itself started out as a B3500 One Ton cargo van. It has the 5.9L 360CI V8 motor and auto transmission. Power steering, power brakes, aftermarket radio, intermittent wipers, and good ole crank windows. It has aftermarket captains chairs that do not swivel around. New all terrain tires, batteries, filters, fresh oil change, and fully serviced.

A fiberglass high top was added leaving just under 6' stand up headroom, and storage/small bunk up top. It also has a rear bench seat that folds out into a 69"x69" bed.

For the Camper Part, we remodeled the inside, got rid of the homemade side seating and added the kitchen, including propane stove, with hood vent and light, 3 way refrigerator, hand pump sink, Propane RV Furnace with thermostat, and pantry/storage area.

Other items added are a Max air type exhaust fan with cover on the roof for ventilation, a new digital antenna with booster, 12V smart TV installed on a swing away mount, new LED lights, 12V ports, and electrical outlets.

In the front above the cab, there is a nice cabinets that offer extra storage, and in the back there is a small bunk that could be used as a kids sleeping area, or just lots of storage space.

There is a new AGM sealed type 12V battery for the coach, that charges when plugged in, or being driven down the road. There is an added 12V battery on/off switch so the battery can be disconnected when not in use.

While there is no RV toilet or shower, there is a new porta potty that sits in the lower cupboard when not in use, and can be easily pulled out when needed.

For supporting the RV amenities, we added new dual 5# propane tanks accessible from the outside door of the van. When one tank runs out, the other one is ready to use, and that gives you plenty of time to get the empty one filed up. The propane box is sealed from the inside of the van, vented outside and tanks are strapped in nicely with seat belts. All new propane regulator and lines as well. There is also a 5 ish gallon water tank under the furnace for the sink. This is fallible from the outside of the van, and the sink just drains on the ground. No holding tanks on this unit.

Other new items include the very cool flooring that was installed thru-out as well as new curtains.

Lots of work has gone into this very cool and unique unit and we hope that it goes to someone that can appreciate, and will be able to use it for what it was built for. Getting out there and enjoying life!

I am sure I am missing some items but please let me know if you have any questions at 616-318-0118
