RV Description

The 2005 Itasca Meridian 36G is a Class A motorhome with 67,156 miles on the odometer. This well-maintained RV offers a perfect combination of luxury and functionality for your travels. The Itasca brand is known for its high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail, and the Meridian model is no exception. The 36G trim level offers ample living space with a spacious floor plan that includes a kitchen, dining area, bathroom, and sleeping quarters. The interior features high-end finishes and modern amenities, making it a comfortable and stylish home away from home. With a powerful Caterpillar C7, 350hp diesel engine and smooth handling, the Itasca Meridian is a pleasure to drive on both short trips and long journeys. The exterior of the motorhome is sleek and attractive, with a design that is both aerodynamic and eye-catching. The Michelin 255/80-22.5R tires are DOT dated as manufactured in June 2017 and still have two plus years left on the Michelin-stated ten year life. These tires have been kept covered and there is no damage to the tires or tread. The washer-dryer is non-operative and is not available in the marketplace. A substitute machine could be installed in its place if desired. The entertainment system is a modern Vizio 32" set plus soundbar, mounted above the front dash. on extendable bracket. The bedroom TV has been removed and the space converted into storage cabinet to match the room.My spouse is removing all our stuff from the unit right now, so I cannot get decent interior pictures. But I will post a full set later. Meanwhile, just know that the coach is all original decor and furnishings and is very clean. Friends have said "wow, this looks and smells like a newer coach"!
And here is the gold nugget. We added boon-docking Solar to the rig! She has 600 Watts of solar panels, a German-made 24V/120VAC Inverter rated at 2,500Watts output, a Solar Controller and an AC-Lithium type battery charger to freshen the Solar Battery in cloudy or rainy weather (runs off the gen or shorepower). So when camping, at Quartzsite for example, you can watch TV, run the microwave oven, play music and keep your gadgets charged for hours and hours without running your onboard diesel generator (unless you want to!) I use a 5KW solar battery, which I built, to provide the energy storage. You can bring your own LifePo4 batteries to the party, connect two 12Vers in parallel, and have a nice 24 volt solar storage system. I don't want to sell you my DIY lithium battery because of liability concerns, but as a matter of information, I have three of these 5KW units and have not had issues of any kind. I was an electronics tech in my former life and have lithium battery experience. I have built upwards of twenty such units so am comfortable with the technology.
