RV Description

Renovated, off-grid, van life capable1986 Class C Telstar Champion RV built on a G30 Chevy chassis with a small block engine. We traveled the Western US and Mexico while living in this rig full time for 3 years.

It'd be great for a full time RVer or someone that wants a fully self-contained rig for RV trips.

About the vehicle:

  • 82k original miles-Gas engine
  • Dually tires
  • Passed Texas inspection end of 2023
  • New radiator installed in 2020
  • New battery, radiator belts, spark plugs, starter between 2021-2023
  • All new tires in 2022
  • Original dash, which looks really cool if youre into classic cars (also featured on ClassicCars.com here: https://bit.ly/RVclassiccars )
  • Non-smoking and no cats RV

  • About the living space:

  • Renovated inside in 2021
  • Convertible beds: 1 sofa bed that converts to queen mattress; 1 dinette bed that converts to a child's twin or transforms queen bed into a super king
  • Separated onboard toilet and shower
  • 3-burner gas stove-Gas oven (admittedly, weve never tried to use it and use it for storage of delicate groceries instead)
  • New Norcold fridge as of 2022 (we show the install and how to use it here: https://youtu.be/iVpNkAEfIKY?si=WPJOGh9BWqt7rWw0 )
  • 200Ah Lithium house battery-2000W inverter -100W external portable solar panel (Zamp brand) that plugs into the external port on the RV
  • Onboard generator
  • Onboard 10 lb propane tank
  • Onboard 10 gallon freshwater tank
  • External 10 gallon freshwater tanks to use for refills when off grid

  • There have been 2 owners: the original put on 62k miles over the years as a seasonal camper van and kept it in amazing condition. We are the second owners and put on 20k miles from 2020-2023 as we traveled the US and Mexico while living in the RV full time.

    Why are we selling??

There is nothing wrong with the rig at all! We simply started our next adventure of living abroad in Portugal and can't take the RV with us. We hope the next owners had as much fun as we did!

We are selling the rig with everything you need to get started right away, which means all the camping equipment that we have (and is too much to list in a post). You can reach out to me directly if you have any questions about what's included or if you don't want anything at all!

You can see everything you possibly could want about living in the RV on our YouTube channel where we show how we lived in the van and all our adventures: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLCr_Ip96TT3P9Ylk1OcDn_SVskYEB0vGX&si=N1ZhlDF6cnbafdiZ
