RV Description
If you are already familiar with how awesome a Grand Design 310 GK is, then you probably won’t want or need all of my colorful prose below.
You already know what we learned: this RV has the best floor plan of all RVs.
Clean title in hand. No issues. Everything but a few of the shades work well. Possible need for a new compression washer or two on the Nautilus panel. I just ordered them. While winterizing, noticed that the siphon was not sucking as hard as it should.
Below are some of my favorite features on what I call a condo on wheels:
· Automagically leveling stabilizers. Yay for the simple push of a button to extend/level or retract all jacks. Spend your new-found energy, time and patience on something more productive!
· The cavernous storage areas don’t judge me when I want to bring way too much stuff. Long and wide, with powered outlets and LED lights.
· Weather got you down? Come on in an post up in a recliner in front of a warm (or just decorative) fireplace. Recliners are heated, massaging and electric.
· The full-size kitchen has a large fridge with a bar that invites socially standing around it in the way that bars do. It’s plumbed for a dishwasher.
· The views. We bought this specific model because of all of the windows. We love our views! And I love that some branding genius came up the “televator” that stows the TV out of the way when not in use. Imagine enjoying the sight of the creek and and trees out of the window just above your fireplace. Shift into evening mode when you’d prefer to chill with some Netflix. Since there’s no longer anything to see out of the window, just push another button to televate a large flat screen TV—still above fireplace, yet seemingly out of nowhere.
· The ladder. I’m the kind of nerd that had to have a cover on my previous trailer every winter. I never did look forward to bringing my extension ladder to the RV storage area and then fumbling around with it. Especially nice if you plan to put a Starlink on top.
· The all-in-one washer/dryer. If you see yourself spending more than 2 weeks at a time inside, let me ask this: do you also see yourself running back and forth to a laundromat? The answer of course is no. No, you don’t. You much prefer to go absolutely nowhere, other than the paradise that you’ll be sitting in.
· Brand new Curt (Trailair) Rotoflex pin box. This thing has been excellent at reducing chucking (and upchucking) while driving.
* LED lights everywhere you could possibly want them- direct, indirect, semi-direct
* MaxAir silent yet uber powerful fan in the kitchen* Couch folds out into a bed
* Two add’l dining chairs stow folded behind recliners
* All window screens are included. We took several out to better the view
