RV Description

Here's an old dame looking for a new caretaker. She has been well-loved. She was custom built by a man who built boats for a living. He put oak cabinets and floor on the inside.I lived in this van very comfortably for a year and a half. Selling because we haven't used her for her purpose in years, she's mostly been driven as a backup vehicle.I would like to see her go to a loving home where she is used and appreciated. She probably has nearly 100,000 miles left in her, at least! Here are the features which might draw you to this van:-Freshly detailed cabin interior, will update photos soon!-Sleeps 2-3 solar panels on top and cabin battery to run lights, accessories, etc-Brand new high quality marine cabin battery (200Ah)-Fridge runs on propane or plugged-in electric (not battery)-Sink with new pump-30-gal water tank and 30-gal wastewater tank-Stove runs on propane-DVD/CD/Radio system with screen and speakers over the bed - enjoy movie night in the camper!-Lots of storage, more than you think!-Engine runs clean, has had regular maintenance-Leather seats-Two interior skylightsShe weighs about 8,000 pounds and gets 14mpg on average.Opportunities/challenges:-No bathroom, but comes with a pee pot and you can find other facilities for #2-Rust to body in several places (Van was in Rhode Island so lots of seawater exposure to undercarriage)-Had a hot water tank for the sink, was removed to increase storage space but there is room and wiring for one if you choose to replace it-Awning has been removed due to wind damage, could be replaced-Rooftop Air Conditioner has been removed in order to place more solar panels-Bed is built for short people! I'm 5'9 and it's barely tall enough for me, any taller and it will not be long enough - but it is very comfortable.-CEL comes on occasionally for an oxygen sensor, they've been replaced so no issue there just a faulty signal-There was for a long time a small leak in the front interior leading to some water damage to the cabin roof, but it has been fixedShe is an old dame, she has seen some wear and tear, but is generally in excellent condition for her age!
