RV Description

We purchased this in 2010. We are selling it as we have now moved to our favorite camping destination, the beach. We have not used the trailer since Sept. 2021. Soon after we purchased it, we stripped and polished the trailer. It still looks nice, but can use a "clean up" polish. The previous owner installed cork flooring in the living area. and we installed a new bathroom floor covering. We also had the couch and the side of the microwave cabinet covers with Ultraleather Birsa. Furthermore we had new curtains made in the same style as the originals, but with a nicer "Chino" style material. At the same time, the window cornices were done in a "southwestern" style material. We made the panel under the closet that overs the water pump area, more easily removable the original had to have a number of screws removed to access it . The Safari has 150 watts of solar panels from AM Solar. New Trojan Batteries were installed in 2016, we are able to keep them on and maintain them year round due to having the solar panels. . New tires were installed in 2016, they likely have 3,000 miles or so on them. In 2017 we installed all new Dexter brake backing plates and drums with new, USA made Timkin bearings. We also updated the audio system with an Alpine head unit and amp, JL speakers including adding speakers under the front cabinet and a Bazooka subwoofer under the couch. The rear twin mattress are memory foam. The front sofa is a jackknife. There is a table that folds out from the side cabinet and set up in front of the couch. It has 3 Fantastic Fans. Rollup blinds on all of the windows except the door. The 30lb. propane tanks have been updated with new ones around 2013. We also installed a high lift jack. We are including a Progressive Industries 30A surge protector. An Equalizer brand hitch is included. The stove, fridge and HWH, all original water pump updated all work, we can't test the AC original as we don't have a hook up for it, it worked fine last trip out. That said, please note this is a 25 year old trailer and is being sold in as is, where is condition. These appliances might last for years, or one or more could break before you get it home. It seems to have one small, intermittent leak at the rear, that drips down over the table, we have been chasing it for years with no success. So please factor that into your buying decision. All in all this is a nice, polished, well cared for Airstream waiting for a new home, we have loved owning it.
