the owners of Hidden Lake RV Ranch & Safari have been working on an idea for 5 years and it has recently become a reality. After years in the RV park business, we found one thing in common with all of our guests regardless of their ages, they all LOVE ANIMALS!
We wanted to be the 1st RV park in the US to high game fence our ranch including the RV park and bring in several different types of exotic animals. The idea is not have fences separating exotic animals and RV guests.
We want guests to have the opportunity to view or photograph the exotic animals at any given time, at any given place on the ranch. For instance, they could be setting inside peering out their window or setting outside and see deer grazing, bedded down or just hanging out in or near their campsites.
For the RV guests staying here at the ranch, they will have the opportunity to take a guided sightseeing safari tour of the entire ranch (appox. 1 hour) for an extra charge.
We presently have several varieties of both domestic and exotic animals.
We are now taking reservations for the same guided tour provided the general public (those that do not own a RV and not staying overnight). Offering up close views of the wildlife, exotic and domestic animals, excellent photo ops with the animals in a natural environment. Also, feed can be purchased for an additional cost for those who want to feed the animals during their safari tour. Located on the out skirts of the DFW metroplex area, easily accessible from US Hwy 281/ TX Hwy 114 and Hwy 380.
