Myakka city is a hidden gem of cowboys, ranchers, bird watchers and dreamers… Its located 25 min from Lakewood Ranch, 1 hour to either Siesta Key or Anna Maria Island, 40 minutes to Sarasota. We are 20-25 min from historic Arcadia where we do most of our shopping. Myakka State Park, Terra Nova Equestrian, Teeumph (zip lining), Peace River Outpost (kayaks), Elephant Rescue all are within 20-minute drive. We, Myakka Trail Rides, offer guided Horseback Riding Tours and Atv farm tours on our main farm which is walking distance away.
