RV Description

2015 Winnebago Mini Winnie 2101-DS. We purchased this camper for a road trip to/from Alaska this summer. This camper was modified to be comfortable for a 12,500 mile road trip over 5 weeks through some of the most remote areas in North America. We literally have boondocked in this camper in remote parts of the Yukon Territory and Alaska. Clear Texas title in hand. Exterior: There is a large power awning with decorative lighting and a second slide cover awning to protect the slide out. All 4 tires were replaced just before our trip this summer and have around 13,000 miles on them at this point. The new full-size spare tire has never been used. A keyless entry lock was installed for convenience. The manual tongue jack was replaced with a new electric jack.

Interior: A brand-new vinyl jackknife sofa was installed. The original flip-down loveseat near the front of the camper was deleted so that a new dedicated RV queen short bed could be installed with storage underneath. The dry bath has a dedicated shower with new fixtures. A towel rack and additional lighting were also added to the bathroom. There is also an outside shower installed. The interior is not perfect. There are some places (bottom of the bathroom doorframe) with missing / broken trim. The new waterproof laminate flooring was bounced around pretty hard on the ALCAN Highway and some of the seams are now visible between the flooring pieces; this is purely cosmetic and can be tightened up later.

Electrical: The interior and exterior lighting was converted to LED. All of the interior light fixtures were upgraded. Extra exterior lighting was also added for safety. Lighting was added to the cargo bays as well. Multiple 110v outlets have been added for convenience as have numerous USB charging ports. Fans - Both interior fans were replaced with upgraded, variable speed fans with vent covers.

Generator A Westinghouse electric start (with remote start) inverter generator mounted on rear of camper on a special removable mount. A 12 gallon marine fuel tank was mounted above the tongue on a heavy-duty steel platform, and an electric fuel pump was added for reliability. Inverter A 2000w running / 4000w startup pure sine wave inverter was also installed to use the microwave, TV, coffee pot, etc. while off-grid in places where generators were not permitted. Batteries 2 brand new (2024) 6-volt deep cycle golf cart batteries were installed.

May consider trade for aluminum framed long bed truck camper.
