We LOVE this Jayco Alante 29F motorhome! But due to a change in our family situation sadly we must part ways. We plan on buying this same model in the future as it is so much fun and takes the work out of seeing the country. Driving this down the road is enjoyable as you are up high, taking in a panoramic view as you travel. There is nothing like it. It makes 3 hours drives feel like 30 minutes. Plus, having the whole family together rather than squeezed into the cab of a pick-up is super nice. To know you have snacks, a bathroom, and all the comforts of home right there with you, makes trips far more enjoyable than hotel hopping. The kids have their own spaces and are not at each other's throats! It's the perfect size - small enough to navigate anywhere (unlike the longer coaches) but big enough to feel like a hotel suite. We purchased it this spring (April 2024) from General RV in Grand Rapids MI. They obtained it from the original owners, so we are only the second owners. I'm posting this in September 2024, which means it's in the same pristine condition as when we took possession of it just a few months ago. UPGRADE: Top-notch sway bars installed by Ford Truck certified mechanics (LaFontaine), making it drive MUCH smoother, almost like a minivan. The front bar was replaced. In the rear, the factory bar was retained while a second bar was added. UPGRADE: Ultra-comfortable memory foam queen mattress. We sleep better on this than at home!! More features: On-board generator that draws from the 80 gal gas tank, large propane tank, 2 house batteries, black tank flush, auto-stabilizing jacks, huge fridge and pantry, tons of storage inside/outside, on-demand hot water, dual A/C units, rear and side cameras, outside entertainment, push-button awning, LED lighting, 4 TVs streaming-ready, BlueTooth, and a spacious bathroom. We will throw in a new 30 FT (30 amp) extension cord, 15 amp adapter for any 110 outlet, and water/sewer hoses with support bridge. It has a 5,000 lb hitch ready for your dinghy or use it for a bike rack. It has a V8 vs the V10 of its predecessor which means the cruising RPMs are about 30% lower making it substantially quieter when driving (plus more torque). Surprisingly, due to its compact wheelbase, it's more agile than you might expect. We did TONS of research before this purchase. We are impressed with this quality motorhome as it delivers what it promises. It's a beautiful hotel on wheels! We are price-flexible - make us a serious offer!
