RV Description

This is the 1995 model and it is 24ft, 4,000lbs dry weight with 45 gallon fresh, black and grey tanks.

We absolutely loved this trailer. It was a dream to tow and camp with, its compact size made it capable of going to places that most other campers couldn't. Its relatively large tank sizes also made it so we could be in one place for longer periods.

We can't speak highly enough about the construction of Lance trailers.

We did a custom aesthetic renovation on the inside. Properly done with premium mold + mildew resistant paint with an airless paint sprayer. The valances were removed, allowing more light into the trailer while also saving a lot of weight.

Added backsplashes in the kitchen and bathroom, which can easily be replaced to suit your preferences.

We turned what used to be a magazine rack that was completely non functional into an extra cabinet. It holds A LOT of liquor, safely. Or whatever you desire. This was one of my favorite upgrades, as it added so much extra storage. The doors we installed came straight from Lance themselves, too.

What used to be a coat closet was turned into a pantry, with adjustable wire shelving and a reinforced back to help support the load.

We removed the decals from the outside of the trailer. We have gotten a lot of compliments on the trailer because of it. But we originally did it so that it ages better. Decals inevitably wear down and when they *have* to be removed there will be discoloration from sun wear and tear.

Some ceiling lights were upgraded to ones with more robust switches.

The rear bumper is reinforced with SafetyStruts to make it load bearing.

TV was upgraded to a larger 1080p one

Progressive industries surge protector was installed behind the breaker panel.

Added Ethernet connection to media panel behind TV that goes to roof for use with WiFi radio

Included in price:

Proven industries 2516 Hitch lock ($250)

Abloy Protec0 PL 975 Hardened Steel Puck Padlock (recommended by the Lockpicking Laywer) ($160)

Equal-i-zer 600/6000 Sway control hitch ($760)

Tekonsha 90195 Brake control and Ram Mount suction cup mount to attach to windshield. ($200)

One common problem with these trailer is that the skylight will collect condensation. We had that happen to us, with mild delamination around the skylight. To solve that, we sealed the exposed edges with Eternabond tape and more sealant.
