I bought this RV in late 2021 for a trip to the NC coast and back to OR. It looked good at first glance, but quickly discovered some dry rot. We went in to fix it and kept finding more rot, including leaky windows. Ended up pretty much gutting the whole thing. Ripped up carpet, removed entire sections of walls, including the entire bathroom. We decided to keep the original ‘80’s look; seats, benches, bed, and cabinets are all original.

These Toyota engines are pretty much bulletproof. There have been tales of them happily going to 300,000 mi and up. Even after sitting all winter, it has always started up right away. I’ve only needed to get new, more robust batteries and replace the alternator.
