RV Description

Our TLRV Rove Lite 14FL is one of the lightest (1,670 dry weight) full height travel trailers on the market. This low dry weight allowed us to tow it all the way around the country with our Subaru Outback.

It has all features that would be expected in larger, heaver trailer. This includes 6' interior height, shower, toilet, 3.3 cubic foot 12 v refrigerator, propane fueled heating and on demand hot water, AC unit, powered awning, electric brakes and many more. (see the trailer brochure's options listing in the photos, and the photos themselves).

We picked this FL14 trailer layout (among 3 different layouts available) as it allowed the table to remain up and the couch be extended into the bed at the same time. Because of this, we never had to collapse the table and fold out the bed at night and then do the reverse in the morning.

In addition to the options from the factory, we are including a Bluetti 2,000 Wh Lithium Iron Phosphate DC battery that has a DC to AC converter. This allows the trailer 110 VAC access when the trailer is not on shore power. We paid around $1,600 for it. We are also including a Renogy 200W solar panel array. Note that on one of two panels, the protective glass over it is cracked, but the unit still generates full power. This cost us around $250.

We also added a built in battery volt meter hooked to the trailers 800 or so WH deep cycle marine/RV DC battery. This allows for a much more accurate battery voltage reading than afforded by the 0%, 33%, 66%, 100% LED panel that comes with the trailer.

Although it can sleep three, on any trip of significant length, 2 persons is probably the appropriate limit.
