RV Description

We are selling our Vista LX 27N and downsizing. This has been one of the best RVs we've owned. It's a compact class A (28 ft) and easy to drive, but has three slides, three TVs, a large kitchen, and an amazing amount of storage, inside and out. Also has large tanks (43 black / 53 gray / 64 fresh) and auto-hydraulic leveling jacks. There is over 2700 lbs of net carrying capacity so you can take anything and everything you can imagine. This is a non-smoking rig and has never been rented or loaned out.

It does not have the drop-down bed over the cab, and if you need that, we understand. But the amount of space, livability, and openness without it is amazing. When parked with all three slides out, and the captain's chairs turned around, it's a wonderful living area, but only 28 feet long. The main bedroom has a real queen bed with a new Purple mattress, and the dinette makes into a full bed. There's an extra TV in the front so you can relax at the Benchmark dinette and watch TV, even with the slides in.

Water hookups, outdoor shower, and power are in one compartment; gray/black dumps are in a separate compartment, which is great for sanitation. With the upgraded AC/heat-pump and electric water heater option (3-way), you almost never use propane other than to cook. The 18 gallon propane tank was just filled, and should last a long time. We typically only fill it once a year.

Upgrades:

  • Glaze Vienna Maple cabinets
  • 3M front invisible mask
  • Benchmark Dinette
  • 1000 W inverter
  • A/C with heat pump
  • Microwave/convection
  • Range and oven
  • Original build sheet is in the photos

  • The RV is in excellent condition and well cared for. We use it regularly so it hasn't been sitting and is parked on dedicated RV parking with power hookups on our property. But we've been taking shorter and shorter trips and don't need this much motorhome.

We just had the oil changed and generator serviced (78 total hours). Chassis and house batteries were replaced last year, along with new front tires. Tags were renewed last month. We gets 10-11 MPG with the Ford V10 and 6-speed; she'll go 700+ miles on a full tank of gas. We occasionally tow a Ford C-Max and can't even tell it's there. She is ready for new adventures with a new family, as we downsize to a Sprinter chassis for weekends at the beach.
