RV Description

This RV will be in Naples, FL starting the first week of November 2024, depending on the post-hurricane conditions. It is currently in storage in Piney Flats, TN. If you find that you or someone you know needs a dependable RV, in great condition, that has NOT been in a hurricane, flood or any other eyebrow raising situations, please reply via email.

The 2014 MSRP was $152,688;

Asking $85,000, firm but negotiable within reason. I've been told by some 'in the know' RV'ers, 'if I sold this RV for a penny less, I’d be committed for insanity and the buyer would be guilty of theft.'  It really is in surprisingly great condition. I realize I am biased.

Certified check, wire transfer, Bitcoin, Ether and Ada gladly accepted.

Why am I selling it: My wife and I have had this Winnebago for 2 ish years, snow birding in Florida. We love the RV but do not need the mobility of a Class A. We purchased a residential style RV that will most likely never move from its lot in Bonita Springs, FL.

Frankly, we just do not have a need for 2 RV's.

It is a 2014 model so it is 10 years old but if I had not disclosed the year of manufacture, you would swear it is only a couple years old. The original owner died. We purchased it from the heirs. It was in very clean condition when we purchased it.

We were not perfect but we took care of it the best we knew how. We stored it under a cover the first off-season. That turned out to be a pain in the butt as I had to take the cover off / on every time I opened it up and ran it each month. That cover is not light and on a windy day, you are wrestling a parachute standing on a narrow rooftop. The second off-season we left it in Florida attached to electricity so the AC kept the inside cool and dehumidified. This past off-season we brought it back to TN with us to prep it for sale, refreshing and replacing all the things stated in the next paragraph.

I have made the following updates since April 2024:

1) Brand new complete set of batteries (even under the best care only last about 5 years);

2) Completed the 50 hour maintenance on the Cummins Onan RV QG 5500 Generator (we only used the generator once on our first road trip to have the cabin AC on while we drove (in addition to the dash AC). While we were living in it for 6 months in Florida, we ran the generator under load occasionally just to keep the parts lubricated. However, I have come to learn we should have ran it under load monthly. As a precaution, I purchased a new carburetor when I was told the original may have become gummed up due to infrequent use. After learning this, I completed the 50 hour service and have run the generator at least 8 times for an hour each time, every other weekend with the AC running over the last 4 months with smooth operation (seems to be just fine but you get a new carburetor anyway, nothing lasts forever and you will have it as soon as you need it.);

3) Replaced all of the slider window seals (the seals shrink over time, that's normal). It's surprising how much quieter the ride is with new window seals.

4) Replaced the entire roof with RV Armor (maintenance free and transferable lifetime unlimited warranty). The original roof sealant had a crack around the shower skylight causing water to leach under the top layer of the exterior roof fabric. We had no signs of water leaks on the interior but the OEM roof fabric on the exterior had some slight puffy wrinkles in it like the adhesive had lost its tack. There are 4 pics in the photo slides showing the puffy wrinkles, the tear down revealing water stained luan plywood, replacement of all roof underlayment plywood and finished new roof. The new roof needs no maintenance and has a Lifetime Warranty transferrable to new owners. You do not need to freshen the caulking as there is not any. The RV Armor roof is a multi-coat polymer that is painted on in several layers. It does not crack or shrink. Just keep it clean of debris and dirt in general. You can view the typical roof replacement process video by searching "RV Armor replacement process". If you ever have a problem, the roof tech will come to your site to honor the warranty - labor and parts are covered for the life of the RV.

You will be the 3rd owner. The original owner upgraded many options including adding a stacked washer and dryer in one closet in the bedroom. The king size master bed has a 2 sided, adjustable, air pressure mattress; Also has cruise control, heated and adjustable side mirrors, comfort ride seats for the driver & passenger, new windshield wipers, electric windshield shades, backup cameras, Sirius Satellite radio available, automatic leveling system, 3 slideouts, power awning, outside TV, all site plumbing and electrical hookups included, central vacuum system, 2 A/C units (one in the master, the other in the common areas), electric fireplace with remote and multi-speed fan, passthrough basement storage, tow vehicle braking system, sleeps 4, privacy pocket door for master bedroom, privacy hall pocket doors segregating the shower and bathroom areas. The tires are 2 1/2 years old. Tires last about 7 years due to rubber breaking down from dry rot. Mileage, tread wear, is usually never the cause of replacement. Gives you about 4 years before you should need new tires.

We own the RV outright. Certified funds and receive title on the same day.
